School Bus Routes for 2023-2024 School Year – Link HERE.

Any bus stops added to a route must be School Board approved and can take up to 30 days. Please contact the Transportation department to begin the process.

Before submitting a trip request please:

Check trip availability on calendar – Link HERE.

Submit trip requests no later than 2 weeks before any event

Have the following:

Any addresses for ANY and ALL stops – Trip Itinerary

Name/Email/Grade

Number of Students/People to be on buses

Departing Location

Load Time at school/Leave time from school

Return Time to school

Any special needs for the trip

There can be no more than 6 total buses/trips out on any given day: That includes all Activities/Sports and Field Trips.

The Driver can drive for no more than 10 hours in a day. 

If it is a multiple day trip the Driver is required to have 8 hours of off time for sleep.

The Driver can only be on duty for a maximum of 15 hours/day.

On-Duty time is defined by the federal regulations as “all time from the time a driver begins to work or is required to be in readiness to work until the time the Field Trip Requests driver is relieved from work and all responsibility for performing work.”

Off-Duty time includes times when the Driver is relieved of all duty and responsibility for performing work and is free to pursue activities of his/her own choosing.  If the driver is not doing any work (paid or unpaid) and under no obligations to a motor carrier, and they are not doing any paid work for anyone else, they are off duty.
