Let's give a big round of applause to the CMS Varsity and JV Science Olympiad teams!
Both teams placed 1st in their divisions at the state competition last Friday. The varsity team members will now represent us at the National Tournament in Lansing, Michigan this May. Here are the top varsity finishers: Myla Cooper and Madilyn Farrenburg took 1st in Forestry, Anya Hammill, Aubree Kelley, and Kirsten Race took 2nd in Experimental Design, Myla Cooper and Aubree Kelley finished 3rd in Towers, Bode Middleton and Dawson Herbert took 2nd in Wind Power, and Samantha Royce took 2nd in Agricultural Science. All varsity teams finished in the top 10, showcasing their dedication and hard work! JV top placers are as follows: Iain Beach and Madie Foster took 1st in Anatomy & Physiology, Wesley Winchell and Madie Foster took 1st in Microbe Mission, Jonas Davidson and Iain Beach took 2nd in Meteorology, Bode Pullum, Drew Gividen, and Caedon Beach took 3rd in Codebusters, Jonas Davidson and Callie Anderson took 3rd in Fossils, Brecken Bishop and Caedon Beach took 3rd in Optics, Tenley Suter and Drew Gividen took 1st in Road Scholar, Wesley Winchell<mailto:29wincwe@csd1.us > and Bode Pullum took 2nd in Towers, Tenley Suter and Brecken Bishop took 3rd in Wheeled Vehicle, Maelle Savage and Audrey Huls took 1st in Wind Power, and Abi Hart and Blake Bales took 1st in Agricultural Science.
