This was the 9th year we have had the Corvallis Winter Wildlife Program, which allows us to travel every February to Yellowstone to work with wildlife biologist on a park research project. This year the students contributed to Ungulate research, The Home on The Range Project, specifically collecting data on Bison. The field research involves identification of individuals and herd demographics, learning to track collar bison using telemetry equipment, and collecting fecal samples.
Shout out to the Interact Club!! 41 members stood in front of 4 grocery stores in Hamilton and collected 2,173 lbs of nonperishable food items for the local food bank. Way to represent and give back to our community Interact Club. #WeAreCorvallis
